The Eagle Mountain Symphony Orchestra's summer concert "A Night at The Movies" ended with a rousing standing ovation.
The concert, which was one of the orchestra's biggest selling to date, featured the music of John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Michael Kamen, Hans Zimmer and others and gave a taste of what audiences can expect as the season moves along.
Christopher Lowe has been rehearsing with group and says that he has very much enjoyed getting to know the musicians. Lowe will join the orchestra's trombone section for the next concert in fall which will feature the music of Antonín DvoÅ™ák

Chris Lowe has been invited to conduct the Eagle Mountain Symphony Orchestra in a concert of movie music. "I am truly honored and thankful to be given the privilege of making music with such a fine group of musicians," Chris said of the opportunity. "I am also very excited to explore the possibilities in terms of what this ensemble can do give the audience a thrilling musical experience."

Chris received the invitation via a phone call from Spencer Clark, the orchestra's current principal conductor representing the orchestra leadership.
​
Mr. Lowe has conducted orchestras, bands, choirs and other ensembles, but a full symphony orchestra poses it own unique and exciting challenge.

The concert will be held June 9, 2023 in Eagle Mountain, Utah

Chris Lowe now serves on the board of the Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah and the Eagle Mountain Symphony Orchestra in Eagle Mountain, Utah. He also volunteers his time to direct an after school choir at Pacific Heritage Academy in Salt Lake City.

I AM: The Journey is a concert celebrating global art, music and dance. It will be held at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Concert will feature Alex Boye and the Bonner Unity Gospel Choir. The choir will be singing Come and See, composed and orchestrated by Chris Lowe which will be the main musical theme for the event.

Chris is working on an original score for STATIC, a locally made TV film that explores what a family goes through as they deal with the trials that come with a family member having Alzheimer's disease.
