Christopher Richard Lowe is a conductor, composer, vocalist, instrumentalist and teacher and has been involved with music and the arts for most of his life. Mr. Lowe has been educated in musicianship, composition, music theory and performance at Brigham Young University – Hawaii and Berklee College of Music and is currently a music teacher, composer and vocal coach while pursing a Master of Music degree from University of Texas at El Paso.

Mr. Lowe has served as conductor of the Vaiola College Choir, American Renaissance Academy Chamber Orchestra, the FAME vocal ensemble, the National University of Samoa Choir, and The Makakilo Stake Choir and Orchestra. He has also served as a rehearsal conductor for the BYU Hawaii Concert Choir and Brass Ensemble. He is currently conducting the Eagle Mountain Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Lowe has been pit conductor and musical director for 28 musical theater productions and a guest conductor for a production of Les Miserables in collaboration with The U.S. Marine Pacific Forces Band and the Leeward Strings.

As a vocalist, Chris has performed in musicals, operas and as guest soloist with symphony orchestras. Entertainment critics have praised Christopher's voice a “powerful,” “passionate” and “soul-stirring.” Mr. Lowe's performances have garnered praise from industry professionals he has worked with, including Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, original Motown songwriter Mickey Stevenson, Grammy Award winner Dionne Warwick, Broadway casting director Vincent Liff, Metropolitan Opera baritone Jordan Shanahan, The Phantom of the Opera's Diana Walker and Tabernacle Choir Director Mack Wilberg.

As an active composer, Chris was commissioned to compose and orchestrate the theme for the Center for LDS Arts presentation and concert I AM: The Journey which was performed by The Debra Bonner Unity Gospel Choir, Alex Boye and members of Ngoa y'Africa. He was also appointed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to arrange and orchestrate the finale piece for the cultural celebration of the rededication of the Apia Samoa LDS Temple which was performed by The National Police Band and a 600 member choir. Other compositions include works for choir, symphony orchestra, a Meadow Gold Dairies commercial and two film scores.
